Pear 30 ml shortfill IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Pear in San José: 14 units tested over 2 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
Pear in San José reaches the shelf in 30 ml shortfill formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, 30 ml shortfill, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a pear 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José
Pear 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested pear in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where pear goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡1.82 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Is pear legal to sell in Costa Rica?
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
