Pear 100 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Pear in San José: 24 units tested over 6 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Pear is allowed to say
Pear in San José reaches the shelf in 100 ml bottle formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run pear the same way in San José: same 100 ml bottle, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear 100 ml bottle really costs in San José
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a 100 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested pear in a 100 ml bottle
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where pear goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in San José survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
