Peach vape pen IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist
Peach in San José: 22 units tested over 8 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a vape pen for peach
Peach vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Peach prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.01 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long peach tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a peach vape pen really costs in San José
The honest read on peach: 22 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested peach in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where peach goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why peach tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised ₡40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.01 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
