What a peach starter kit really costs in San José
A peach starter kit from the discounted options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.26 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested peach in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a peach bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every peach bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where peach goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing peach with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised ₡31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.26 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

How long does peach in a starter kit last?
In San José we measured 9 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
