Peach refill pack IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Peach in San José: 22 units tested over 8 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the peach habit
Peach in San José reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Peach in San José reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: peach in San José works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a peach refill pack really costs in San José
Peach prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.9 per 10 ml.
How we tested peach in a refill pack
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a peach bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
Where peach goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why peach tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should peach start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does peach taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the peach blend itself harsh.
