Peach RDA IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Peach in San José: 17 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the peach habit
A peach RDA from the cheapest options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.67 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run peach the same way in San José: same RDA, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long peach tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a peach RDA really costs in San José
If you are looking at peach in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested peach in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a peach bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where peach goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised ₡43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.67 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for peach in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

On the last run in San José: about ₡2.67 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡43 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does peach taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the peach blend itself harsh.
