Peach pod kit IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist
Peach in San José: 6 units tested over 4 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Peach pod kit here
Peach prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.2 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a peach pod kit really costs in San José
A peach pod kit from the budget options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.2 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested peach in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every peach bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where peach goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why peach tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
