Peach box mod IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Peach in San José: 17 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with peach in Costa Rica
Peach sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: peach in San José works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a peach box mod really costs in San José
Peach box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested peach in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where peach goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.82 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Mixing peach with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | ₡47 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | ₡1.82 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On peach the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡1.82 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡1.82 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡47 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does peach in a box mod last?
In San José we measured 4 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
