Peach box mod IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist
Peach in San José: 12 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
Peach in San José reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Peach box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a peach box mod really costs in San José
Peach sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested peach in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every peach bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where peach goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.94 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long peach in San José survives.
- Mixing peach with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Costa Rica |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Costa Rica | 4–9 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | ₡51 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | ₡1.94 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should peach start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How long does peach in a box mod last?
In San José we measured 9 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
