Passionfruit starter kit IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Passionfruit in San José: 9 units tested over 3 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the passionfruit habit
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a passionfruit starter kit really costs in San José
A passionfruit starter kit from the reviewed options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.67 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested passionfruit in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every passionfruit bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Batch code and production date, so a passionfruit bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long passionfruit in San José survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised ₡66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.67 per 10 ml.
