Home / Passionfruit starter kit IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist

How to tell a good starter kit from a repack

We run passionfruit the same way in San José: same starter kit, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

A passionfruit starter kit from the compared options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.23 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.

The short version: passionfruit in San José works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.

What a passionfruit starter kit really costs in San José

Passionfruit prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.23 per 10 ml.

How we tested passionfruit in a starter kit

1. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
2. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
3. Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.

• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every passionfruit bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
• Batch code and production date, so a passionfruit bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
• Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
• Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.

Where passionfruit goes wrong

• Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
• Treating the advertised ₡37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.23 per 10 ml.
• Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.

The rules that apply here

Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
