Passionfruit pod kit IQOS in San José: the price shortlist
Passionfruit in San José: 16 units tested over 4 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Passionfruit is allowed to say
Passionfruit sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you are looking at passionfruit in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: passionfruit in San José works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a passionfruit pod kit really costs in San José
Passionfruit prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.24 per 10 ml.
How we tested passionfruit in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a passionfruit bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing passionfruit with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why passionfruit tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for passionfruit in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
