Passionfruit pod kit IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Passionfruit in San José: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What passionfruit costs in San José
Passionfruit pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Passionfruit in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long passionfruit tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a passionfruit pod kit really costs in San José
Passionfruit sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested passionfruit in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every passionfruit bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Mixing passionfruit with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why passionfruit tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should passionfruit start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
How long does passionfruit in a pod kit last?
In San José we measured 2 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
