Passionfruit mesh tank IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Passionfruit in San José: 10 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a mesh tank for passionfruit
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Passionfruit in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long passionfruit tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a passionfruit mesh tank really costs in San José
Passionfruit prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.46 per 10 ml.
How we tested passionfruit in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every passionfruit bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why passionfruit tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does passionfruit in a mesh tank last?
In San José we measured 2 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should passionfruit start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
