Passionfruit 60 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the wholesale shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Passionfruit in San José: 22 units tested over 8 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a 60 ml bottle for passionfruit
We run passionfruit the same way in San José: same 60 ml bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Passionfruit in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: passionfruit in San José works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a passionfruit 60 ml bottle really costs in San José
A passionfruit 60 ml bottle from the bulk options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.58 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested passionfruit in a 60 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for 60 ml bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every passionfruit bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why passionfruit tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for passionfruit in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should passionfruit start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On passionfruit the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡3.58 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
How long does passionfruit in a 60 ml bottle last?
In San José we measured 8 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
