Nutty prefilled pod IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Nutty in San José: 6 units tested over 7 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a prefilled pod for nutty
We run nutty the same way in San José: same prefilled pod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Nutty prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long nutty tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a nutty prefilled pod really costs in San José
If you are looking at nutty in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested nutty in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every nutty bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why nutty tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised ₡62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.8 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Why does nutty taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the nutty blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should nutty start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
How long does nutty in a prefilled pod last?
In San José we measured 7 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
