Nutty mesh tank IQOS in San José: the wholesale shortlist
Nutty in San José: 21 units tested over 7 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
A nutty mesh tank from the bulk options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.4 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Nutty in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long nutty tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested nutty in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why nutty tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised ₡36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.4 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
