Nutty mesh tank IQOS in San José: the price shortlist
Nutty in San José: 13 units tested over 3 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with nutty in Costa Rica
Nutty in San José reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
A nutty mesh tank from the value options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.69 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long nutty tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a nutty mesh tank really costs in San José
Nutty mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested nutty in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised ₡64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.69 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡2.69 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡64 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does nutty taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the nutty blend itself harsh.
How long does nutty in a mesh tank last?
In San José we measured 3 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
