Nutty mesh tank IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Nutty in San José: 9 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Nutty mesh tank here
Nutty mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Nutty prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.24 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long nutty tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a nutty mesh tank really costs in San José
The honest read on nutty: 9 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested nutty in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every nutty bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.24 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
