Nutty cartomizer IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Nutty in San José: 6 units tested over 8 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a cartomizer for nutty
A nutty cartomizer from the reviewed options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.54 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Nutty in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: nutty in San José works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a nutty cartomizer really costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested nutty in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long nutty in San José survives.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡3.54 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On nutty the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡3.54 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
