Nutty box mod IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Nutty in San José: 6 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the nutty habit
Nutty sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Nutty box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long nutty tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a nutty box mod really costs in San José
Nutty in San José reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested nutty in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a nutty bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing nutty with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for nutty in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
