Nutty 100 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Nutty in San José: 22 units tested over 4 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the nutty habit
The honest read on nutty: 22 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, 100 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a nutty 100 ml bottle really costs in San José
Nutty sounds like one product. It is not: a 100 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested nutty in a 100 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long nutty in San José survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
Is nutty legal to sell in Costa Rica?
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Why does nutty taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the nutty blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should nutty start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 100 ml bottle.
