Mintice RDA IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Mintice in San José: 6 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with mintice in Costa Rica
The honest read on mintice: 6 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at mintice in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long mintice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mintice RDA really costs in San José
We run mintice the same way in San José: same RDA, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mintice in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mintice bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a mintice bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised ₡47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.91 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for mintice in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How long does mintice in a RDA last?
In San José we measured 8 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does mintice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the mintice blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mintice the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡1.91 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
