Mintice mesh tank IQOS in San José: the online shortlist
Mintice in San José: 6 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a mesh tank for mintice
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run mintice the same way in San José: same mesh tank, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mintice mesh tank really costs in San José
Mintice mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested mintice in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mintice bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised ₡46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.78 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should mintice start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
Why does mintice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the mintice blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
