Mintice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.21 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, e-liquid bundle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mintice e-liquid bundle really costs in San José
If you are looking at mintice in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the e-liquid bundle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested mintice in a e-liquid bundle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the e-liquid bundle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for e-liquid bundle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a e-liquid bundle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mintice tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised ₡66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.21 per 10 ml.
