Mintice 30 ml shortfill IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Mintice in San José: 9 units tested over 7 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Mintice 30 ml shortfill here
If you are looking at mintice in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
A mintice 30 ml shortfill from the reviewed options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.47 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long mintice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mintice 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José
Mintice in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested mintice in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mintice bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mintice tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here

Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
