Mintice 10 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist
Mintice in San José: 6 units tested over 2 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run mintice the same way in San José: same 10 ml bottle, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Mintice in San José reaches the shelf in 10 ml bottle formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the 10 ml bottle you buy decides how long mintice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested mintice in a 10 ml bottle
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for 10 ml bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a mintice bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 10 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the 10 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 10 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest 10 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
How long does mintice in a 10 ml bottle last?
In San José we measured 2 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does mintice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 10 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the mintice blend itself harsh.
How much does a 10 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡3.51 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡46 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
