Mint sub-ohm kit IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Mint in San José: 13 units tested over 6 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Mint is allowed to say
A mint sub-ohm kit from the compared options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.58 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The honest read on mint: 13 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested mint in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where mint goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in San José survives.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Packaging for mint in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
