Mint 30 ml shortfill IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Mint in San José: 17 units tested over 5 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Mint 30 ml shortfill here
Mint 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The honest read on mint: 17 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.05 per 10 ml.
How we tested mint in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where mint goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in San José survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
