What melon costs in San José
We run melon the same way in San José: same pod kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a melon pod kit really costs in San José
We run melon the same way in San José: same pod kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested melon in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where melon goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long melon in San José survives.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Treating the advertised ₡60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.56 per 10 ml.
