Mango 100 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist
Mango in San José: 24 units tested over 9 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
Mango sounds like one product. It is not: a 100 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The honest read on mango: 24 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long mango tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mango 100 ml bottle really costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested mango in a 100 ml bottle
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where mango goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mango tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised ₡58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.09 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
