Lime refill pack IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Lime in San José: 13 units tested over 3 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good refill pack from a repack
Lime prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡1.74 per 10 ml.
Lime refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: lime in San José works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime refill pack really costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested lime in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where lime goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lime in San José survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised ₡48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.74 per 10 ml.
