Lime RDA IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Lime in San José: 12 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Lime is allowed to say
A lime RDA from the starter options in Costa Rica costs about ₡1.73 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a lime RDA really costs in San José
Lime RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested lime in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Batch code and production date, so a lime bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where lime goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lime tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lime in San José survives.
