Lime pod kit IQOS in San José: the online shortlist
Lime in San José: 7 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
A lime pod kit from the online options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.45 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a lime pod kit really costs in San José
We run lime the same way in San José: same pod kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested lime in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Batch code and production date, so a lime bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where lime goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised ₡35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.45 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On lime the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.45 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
How long does lime in a pod kit last?
In San José we measured 9 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
