If you are looking at lime in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the nicotine salt bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: lime in San José works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
The honest read on lime: 9 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested lime in a nicotine salt bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where lime goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lime tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
