If you are looking at lime in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the disposable vape you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: lime in San José works if the disposable vape, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime disposable vape really costs in San José
The honest read on lime: 9 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested lime in a disposable vape
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a lime bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for disposable vape in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where lime goes wrong
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised ₡51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.45 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest disposable vape available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
