Home / Lime 60 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist

Choosing a 60 ml bottle for lime

Lime prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡1.67 per 10 ml.

If you are looking at lime in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 60 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.

Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, 60 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

What a lime 60 ml bottle really costs in San José

A lime 60 ml bottle from the budget options in Costa Rica costs about ₡1.67 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.

How we tested lime in a 60 ml bottle

1. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
2. Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
3. Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.

• Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
• The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
• Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
• Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.

Where lime goes wrong

• Ignoring the batch date on a 60 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
• Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
• Treating the advertised ₡29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.67 per 10 ml.

The rules that apply here

Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
