Lime 10 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Lime in San José: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What lime costs in San José
Lime 10 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A lime 10 ml bottle from the discounted options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.1 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 10 ml bottle you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lime 10 ml bottle really costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested lime in a 10 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a lime bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 10 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where lime goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 10 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest 10 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On lime the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.1 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 10 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
