What the label on Lime is allowed to say
We run lime the same way in San José: same 10 ml bottle, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A lime 10 ml bottle from the best options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.52 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, 10 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a lime 10 ml bottle really costs in San José
Lime in San José reaches the shelf in 10 ml bottle formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested lime in a 10 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a lime bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for 10 ml bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where lime goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lime in San José survives.
- Buying the cheapest 10 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
