Licorice starter kit IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Licorice in San José: 6 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
We run licorice the same way in San José: same starter kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Licorice in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: licorice in San José works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice starter kit really costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested licorice in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long licorice in San José survives.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for licorice in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
