Licorice squonk mod IQOS in San José: the online shortlist
Licorice in San José: 20 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Licorice is allowed to say
A licorice squonk mod from the online options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.7 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Licorice in San José reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: licorice in San José works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice squonk mod really costs in San José
We run licorice the same way in San José: same squonk mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested licorice in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
