Licorice pod kit IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Licorice in San José: 21 units tested over 4 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the licorice habit
We run licorice the same way in San José: same pod kit, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Licorice pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a licorice pod kit really costs in San José
Licorice in San José reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested licorice in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.

How long does licorice in a pod kit last?
