Licorice 60 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Licorice in San José: 20 units tested over 2 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What licorice costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Licorice in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: licorice in San José works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice 60 ml bottle really costs in San José
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.19 per 10 ml.
How we tested licorice in a 60 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for 60 ml bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why licorice tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised ₡34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.19 per 10 ml.
