Lemon vape pen IQOS in San José: the price shortlist
Lemon in San José: 11 units tested over 6 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
Lemon in San José reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
A lemon vape pen from the value options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.13 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon vape pen really costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested lemon in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lemon bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lemon tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing lemon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for lemon in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
