Lemon vape pen IQOS in San José: the online shortlist
Lemon in San José: 9 units tested over 7 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Lemon vape pen here
If you are looking at lemon in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡1.92 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon vape pen really costs in San José
We run lemon the same way in San José: same vape pen, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested lemon in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Mixing lemon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lemon tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for lemon in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
