Lemon squonk mod IQOS in San José: the price shortlist
Lemon in San José: 13 units tested over 3 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Lemon is allowed to say
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
A lemon squonk mod from the value options in Costa Rica costs about ₡1.79 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon squonk mod really costs in San José
Lemon squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested lemon in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lemon in San José survives.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does lemon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should lemon start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
