Lemon RDA IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Lemon in San José: 19 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
Lemon RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you are looking at lemon in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: lemon in San José works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lemon RDA really costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested lemon in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Mixing lemon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised ₡46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.61 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
Is lemon legal to sell in Costa Rica?
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does lemon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.
