Home / Lemon pen device IQOS in San José: the price shortlist

Coil life, liquid cost and the lemon habit

Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.

If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a lemon pen device really costs in San José

Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡1.65 per 10 ml.

How we tested lemon in a pen device

1. Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
2. Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
3. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.

• Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lemon bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
• The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
• Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.

Where lemon goes wrong

• Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
• Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
• Mixing lemon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

The rules that apply here

Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.

Packaging for lemon in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
