Lemon nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the online shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Lemon in San José: 15 units tested over 2 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Lemon in San José reaches the shelf in nicotine salt bottle formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested lemon in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.64 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing lemon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Why does lemon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.
Is lemon legal to sell in Costa Rica?
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
How long does lemon in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In San José we measured 2 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
