Lemon mesh tank IQOS in San José: the price shortlist
Lemon in San José: 15 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the lemon habit
Lemon in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Lemon in San José reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon mesh tank really costs in San José
If you are looking at lemon in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested lemon in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised ₡34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.73 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
